Can you believe it? --- Deer hunting season begins in North Dakota in 8 days. A youth hunting season for 12-15 year olds starts on September 18. The youth will be allowed to hunt antlerless white-tailed deer along with a supervising adult. Hunting hours are 1-1/2 hours before sunrise to 1-1/2 hours after sunset. This season was established to give youngsters the opportunity to learn to hunt in a safer environment. Sounds like a good idea to me.
