Ray Rice shows how to promote Baltimore Ravens stuff

Sunday, August 30, 2009 by Peter Marr
Teams are always looking for ways to promote their merchandise.  Baltimore Ravens merchandise will be used by 500 more kids after the Ray Rice football clinic.  Rice's father was killed in a drive-by shooting when he was only 1 year old.  As the oldest of four children, he shouldered much responsibility from a young age.  He took jobs when he was a teenager to help his mother with the bills.

His football skills developed the years he was walking through the Rutgers University Bookstore.  Now in his 2nd year with the Baltimore Ravens, this running back has shown both his heart both on and off the field.  Whether he is holding a camp for 500 kids or visiting the the Special Education class that his mother teaches, this young man is a great example for football players and all sports fans.
